Job Responsibility:
Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide EMDR and other therapeutic modalities as clinically appropriate
Maintain a caseload seeing a minimum of 25+ client sessions per week, with possible monthly bonuses for those that exceed
Complete timely and accurate documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes)
Collaborate with clients, families, case managers, medical providers, and school personnel as needed
Participate in clinical meetings, trainings, and team collaboration
Use creativity and evidence-based interventions to help clients meet and exceed treatment goals
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work or a related behavioral science field from an accredited institution
Trained or certified in EMDR
Licensed mental health professional in the state of Virginia
Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
Nice to have:
Creative, innovative approach to therapy
Experience working with children, adolescents, and teens
Experience with couples and families
General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing
