Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Embedded Python Test Engineers to join our client in Munich, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in software testing, Python automation, and embedded systems to work on high-performance, security-focused technology products within an agile development environment. As an Embedded Python Tester, you will design and automate tests for embedded devices, integrate testing solutions into the CI/CD pipeline, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, and software engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and automate Python tests for embedded devices
  • Integrate automated test solutions into Continuous Integration (CI) environments
  • Maintain and improve the test framework and infrastructure
  • Create, update, and manage software quality documentation
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile development team
  • Coordinate with firmware, hardware, and software development teams
  • Integrate software modules and perform functional and hardware-level verification
  • Support device integration into complete system architectures

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, or related field
  • Strong Python skills for test automation
  • Solid experience in software testing, integration, and software quality assurance
  • Knowledge of Communication protocols
  • Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems
  • Knowledge of Object-oriented programming and development
  • Knowledge of C/C++, embedded Linux, and digital circuit fundamentals
  • EU or NATO nationals (dual citizenship accepted)
  • NfD briefing required

Nice to have:

  • C#, systemd/dbus
  • Safety or security-critical environments
  • ISTQB certification
