Job Description

Design and develop edge runtime systems on NVIDIA Jetson platforms. Build and maintain hardware abstraction layers (HAL) and device integration modules. Integrate various sensors (USB-C, CSI-2, environmental sensors, wearable devices). Optimize AI inference pipelines using CUDA / TensorRT. Implement communication between edge devices and backend systems (MQTT, gRPC). Develop provisioning and device configuration workflows. Ensure system reliability, diagnostics, and offline resilience. Participate in system calibration and data validation workflows (“truth loop”). Collaborate with AI, backend, and hardware teams on system design and delivery. Continuously improve system performance, stability, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with C++ (production-level development)
  • Solid experience with Linux (system-level or embedded environments)
  • Experience working with embedded systems or edge devices
  • Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA and/or TensorRT)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration (sensors, peripherals, or devices)
  • Understanding of system performance optimization and debugging
  • Proficiency in AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor IDE, Tabnine, or similar is required
  • Strong prompt engineering skills to optimize the outputs of AI tools effectively
  • Critical understanding of the boundaries of AI tools and the ability to apply sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Utilizing artificial intelligence to debug, refine code quality, and improve documentation for enhanced productivity and workflow reliability

Nice to have

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson (AGX Orin or similar)
  • Background in Computer Vision or Edge AI systems
  • Experience with sensor interfaces (CSI-2, USB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MQTT, gRPC, or IoT communication protocols
  • Experience with Bluetooth, Thread, or other connectivity protocols
  • Exposure to mmWave or radar-based systems
