Job Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager with a strong track record in campaign execution and performance management to drive engagement, retention, and revenue through strategic email marketing initiatives. This role will own the end-to-end email lifecycle — from planning and execution to optimization and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end email campaign execution, including planning, segmentation, deployment, and QA
  • Manage and optimize automated and triggered email programs (lifecycle, nurture, retention, etc.)
  • Analyze performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue) to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop testing strategies (A/B and multivariate) to optimize subject lines, content, timing, and audience segmentation
  • Partner with creative and content teams to produce compelling, on-brand email experiences
  • Own email calendar and ensure alignment with broader marketing campaigns and business priorities
  • Monitor deliverability, list health, and compliance with email marketing best practices
  • Report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, campaign execution, and performance management
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate performance insights into actionable optimizations
  • Experience running A/B tests and improving campaign KPIs over time
  • High attention to detail with strong project management and execution skills

  • Own email KPIs such as addressable warm lead database size, email engagement metrics such as open and clicks, email health metrics, such as spam and last channel conversions to sales opportunities
  • Identify and segment target audience aligned to various drips sequences and campaign requirements
  • Influence and help manage a lead scoring system to identify and accelerate ideal customers through the acquisition lifecycle
  • Own acquisition lifecycle workflows and blast sends to manage and engage users throughout their buying lifecycle
  • Develop and manage an always on cold email outreach program which drives new customers to CleverTap, without burning brand bridges
  • Own and regularly report the KPIs associated with a cold email outreach program: program hygiene metrics, such as spam score, deliverability and clicks, email driven warm lead collection
  • Own email copy and content: identifying the best tone of voice, sender and copy / content approach to achieve your KPIs
  • Own email template strategy: work with internal resources to design and implement appropriate formats and templates per user segment that drive results
  • Collaborate with channel peers to drive end to end results, both as an always on strategy and for the purposes of campaigns
