Job Description

This role is ideal for an experienced email marketing professional who enjoys operating as a strategic advisor while remaining closely connected to program optimization. You’ll partner with key stakeholders to provide expert guidance on lifecycle and CRM initiatives, helping shape and strengthen Epic’s email marketing strategy as the platform continues to evolve.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance on Epic’s email marketing programs
  • Review and optimize email journeys and automation to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Review and optimize segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure relevant and timely messaging
  • Review and optimize A/B testing strategy, deliverability, and engagement best practices
  • Serve as a strategic sounding board for campaign planning, optimization, and problem-solving

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Iterable
  • Strong background in lifecycle, CRM, and email marketing
  • Proven ability to provide strategic guidance rather than execution-heavy support
  • Comfortable operating in a consulting or advisory role with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

  • Execute and QA high-volume email marketing campaigns across multiple card products
  • Own end-to-end email execution tasks: reviewing and approving email proofs, validating links, rendering, personalization logic, and compliance, ensuring all assets are accurate and up to date prior to deployment
  • Update and edit creative assets (PDFs, light Figma edits) and coordinate simple creative changes with agency partners
  • Prepare and package assets for performance marketing teams: writing and applying all required tags, ensuring specifications and requirements are clearly documented
  • Coordinate with vendors (e.g., Movable Ink) to exchange code and validate execution requirements
  • Support approvals by performing detailed QA checks to ensure emails are error-free prior to launch
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, flexing between teams and priorities as needed
