Oracle's Government, Defense, and Intelligence division is seeking experienced consultants with expertise in Oracle PeopleSoft applications-functional, development, and/or administration-to support an Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation. This position involves delivering PeopleSoft software and system consulting services directly at client locations. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable engaging with customers and executive leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Provide functional and development consulting for PeopleSoft ELM and related applications
Collaborate with customers and executive leaders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Assess high-level architectural designs, research implementation roadmaps, and conduct feasibility studies
Translate technical requirements into actionable solutions to guide development teams
Drive customer engagement and influence development processes when necessary
Design, create, and test software solutions using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work independently and within team environments to achieve project goals
Offer strategic recommendations for cost-effective, long-term maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM, Financials, and Education applications
Develop and explain reporting artifacts, leveraging data warehouse concepts for users with varying technical backgrounds
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Expertise in PeopleSoft ELM, HR, Financials, SQL, and PeopleTools
Familiarity with selective adoption, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Query Manager, and ELM data dictionary
Strong communication skills
Experience managing small to medium-sized projects and teams
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa
Passion for technology and continuous learning
U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
DOD 8570 Certification
This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
