Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary teacher to join our Christian school community. Job Responsibility:

  • Implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with both state standards and Christian principles
  • Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Integrate biblical teachings and values into daily instruction across all subjects
  • Establish clear expectations for behavior and academic performance

  • Foster a sense of community and teamwork among students
  • Assess student progress regularly through a variety of assessment methods
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide additional support or enrichment activities as needed
  • Foster a love of learning by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity
  • Establish and maintain open communication with parents
  • Collaborate with parents and school administrators to address student needs
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other community activities
  • Stay current with educational trends, research, and best practices
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Actively contribute to the school community through collaboration with colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification/license
  • Strong understanding of elementary curriculum standards and instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment grounded in Christian faith and values
  • Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire and empower students
  • Valid teaching certification/license in Washington State
