AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive elementary team in Warren, Michigan for the 2025-2026 school year. This position can either be split between two elementary schools or kept full-time at one building, depending on candidate preference and district need. The district offers exceptional support, including a wonderful teacher consultant, a general education behavioral specialist, and collaborative school teams. The SLP will serve at least one self-contained classroom and provide services to students in resource and some general education settings.
Job Responsibility:
Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) using schools IEP system and technology (Power school)
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication and academic success
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation of student progress
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure
Experience working with school-aged children
Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
