Job Description

Bethany Christian School seeks an Elementary Teacher for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The qualified Elementary Teacher will prayerfully teach students to learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians equipped to follow the Lord in His purpose for their lives. Bethany Christian School’s mission is to provide an exceptional academic education through partnership with our families, in a diverse environment that integrates biblical truth throughout all courses of study, while equipping every child to impact their world for Christ.

Job Responsibility

  • Teach classes as assigned, following the prescribed scope and sequence
  • Plan engaging and creative lessons aligning with the prescribed scope and sequence
  • Regularly assess students' learning and provide progress reports as required
  • Establish an effective classroom management and behavior system
  • Maintain regular and accurate records to meet the demands for a comprehensive knowledge of each student’s progress
  • Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview throughout the activities and curriculum
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administration

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited post-secondary institution OR hold an ACSI certificate or be willing to participate in a program to complete the requirements for certification in a specified period
  • Demonstrate excellent technology skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Teaching Certification (Required)
