The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions
Perform tasks such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment
Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes
Requires physical capability to lift, maneuver, and carry weighted objects
Operate and maintain all DENRO components and gator radio systems
Monitor/configure systems to include developing new and/or changing TED maps
Operate and maintain data lines (T1 & T3), microwave links, and fiber lines
Ensure required reports and documentation are available and properly maintained
Maintain current tower climb certification
Comply with TDXi’s Quality and Safety Programs and other duties as assigned
Comply with all Company policies and Quality and Safety Procedures during employment
Function in the dual capacity of operator-maintainer to safely and realistically operate and maintain fully functional systems, equipment or circuits
Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions to troubleshoot, inspect, repair, service, adjust/align/calibrate, prevent/control corrosion, remove and replace/reinstall, modify/upgrade equipment and documentation IAW approved directives, & re-establish systems after movements/deployments
Requirements:
High school diploma and successful completion of accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or equivalent military training, or minimum three (3) years’ experience at journeyman level
IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security +) Certification required
US Citizen
Secret Clearance or ability to obtain is required
Valid state driver’s license
Ability to read, analyze, and apply knowledge of both electrical and mechanical schematics
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Nice to have:
Associate Degree in Electronics and experience at the Craftsman level
