Job Description

The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate and maintain all DENRO components and gator radio systems
  • Monitor/configure systems to include developing new and/or changing TED maps
  • Operate and maintain data lines (T1 & T3), microwave links, and fiber lines
  • Ensure required reports and documentation are available and properly maintained
  • Maintain current tower climb certification
  • Comply with TDXi’s Quality and Safety Programs and other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all Company policies and Quality and Safety Procedures during employment

Requirements

  • High school diploma and successful completion of accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or equivalent military training, or minimum three (3) years’ experience at journeyman level
  • IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security +) Certification required
  • US Citizen
  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to read, analyze, and apply knowledge of both electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

Nice to have

Associate Degree in Electronics and experience at the Craftsman level highly desirable
