Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Job Responsibility

  • Installing and maintaining electronic security systems
  • Performing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory
  • Leading teams on Large complex installation projects with limited supervision
  • Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits
  • Installing and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
  • Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create, Document and Track RFIs
  • Design assist and feedback
  • Documenting daily reports and project progress
  • Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
  • Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
  • Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
  • Guide and Mentor Technicians

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
  • An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
  • 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus
  • Must be able to travel 50%

Nice to have

Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems
