M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains cyber-physical solutions for the nation’s most mission-critical facilities, secure environments, complex infrastructure, and global enterprises. This role is for an Electronics Technician 2 executing technical tasks in field operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
Job Responsibility:
Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations
Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems
Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies
Conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers
Utilizes and comprehends project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing adherence to M.C. Dean handbook and policies
Analyzes and interprets complete M.C. Dean drawing packages to assess constructability
Verifies correct charges in timesheets on projects, executing installation and maintenance activities within planned durations
Tracks and inventories tools, conducting consistent tool inspections
Participates in10-minute daily ORM meetings, ensuring team compliance with safety requirements
Participates in PITCO plan creation and build out, executing PITCO plan to include testing to verify high quality
Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware components
Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices, network and IT equipment
Racks and stacks head end equipment, terminates and performs cable terminations and accessories associated with industry standards
Communicates consistently with MC Dean Project Teams
Acts as a collaborative teammate, providing and absorbing constructive feedback
Plans and prioritizes tasks effectively
Survey and document existing field conditions, providing feedback and recommendations to the project team
Requirements:
HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel up to 25%
Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds]
Ability to work at various heights up to 60 feet
Ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead
Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
Nice to have:
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems
Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills
