Job Responsibility

  • Perform audits (Technical and Process) of suppliers per required industry standards and create required reports
  • Support customer audits on-site at Brose production locations
  • Perform basic warranty analysis on electronics modules and motors and create reports
  • Create warranty analysis reports and problem solving documents such as 8D, 5D, fishbone, etc.
  • Define PPAP requirements for suppliers and ensure proper PPAP submission by supplier
  • Work with customer to define PPAP requirements and create and submit PPAP to customer per customer requirements
  • Attend and contribute to project team meetings for all electronics and motors quality related items
  • Actively drive and control the APQP process for the projects within the scope of the role
  • Lead quality gate activities for electronics and motor related products including conducting supplier quality gates
  • Create prototype control plans and ensure quality of prototype parts

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in APQP, PPAP, PSW, TS16949, etc. (all of the automotive standard Quality requirements)
  • Electronic Module production knowledge / exposure needed
  • Has a solid understanding of physics of moving systems (should understand the interactions between motor, electronics, and mechanics in a mechatronic system)
  • Travel up to 50% (US, Mexico, Germany) required

  • Semiconductor process knowledge
  • Supplier Auditor experience
  • Spanish (to support Mexico suppliers and Brose plants)
  • VDA certification
