Electronics Engineer

• Conduct major engineering assignments in collaboration with other members of the project engineering team
• Perform requirement analysis and design and implement engineering solutions to meet the regulatory requirements and customers' needs
• Conduct verification and validation and prepare verification plans and procedures
• Perform project system safety engineering activities in accordance with the business requirements of the client
• Leading system safety activities for the project, serving as the primary subject matter expert and representing the company at project safety meetings with the customer
• Conducting safety assessments for new designs and design modifications, providing critical analysis of potential impacts on system safety
• Manage and maintain comprehensive hazard logs and risk control plans, ensuring alignment with Defence safety standards and regulatory requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Computer science, Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline)
• Knowledge of systems engineering practices and applicable standards
• Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital)
• Good working knowledge of system safety engineering practices and applicable standards, e.g. MIL-STD-882
• Must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a security clearance or have a NV1 or Baseline Security Clearance
