Job Description

To design and develop electronic systems for the Instro product range. This involves the entire product life cycle, from concept to end-of-life and working with the mechanical and software teams. Working within the wider Instro team to support the introduction of new products and support the existing product line.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop electronic systems for the Instro product range
  • Work on the entire product life cycle, from concept to end-of-life

Requirements

  • Specification capture, or working to existing specifications
  • Appropriate technology selection and evaluation
  • Capture of the schematic design, circuit simulation and the review process
  • PCB layout and peer review
  • Writing of technical notes, reports, test specifications and explanations
  • Taking the design through design verification testing and formal qualification
  • Production support including fault finding and documenting procedures
  • Component obsolescence management
  • To undertake as required, customer and supplier visits by car. As such a full current driving licence is required
  • Eligible to obtain security clearance to SC level
