Job Description

Electronics Design Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Racine, WI responsible for developing, validating, and industrializing embedded electronic devices for agricultural and construction products. 100% Remote. Salary: $92,997- $132,825/year

Job Responsibility

  • Developing, validating, and industrializing a variety of embedded electronic devices for agricultural and construction products for CNH
  • Providing expertise in analysis and identify solutions for current product performance improvements
  • Assisting internal customers in proper application and implementation of the technology
  • Researching, developing, and evaluating design concepts including materials, specifications, equipment, and machines
  • Evaluating new and existing circuits for appropriate functionality and the ability to pass electrical qualification tests
  • Validating new circuits and subsystems through utilizing simulation software and proof-of-concept prototypes
  • Performing hardware validation, driver development, and support manufacturing programming through test flows
  • Determining purpose, application, and feasibility of new or enhancement of existing products or processes
  • Creating and updating documentation for designs, and all phases of the project
  • Participating in reviews of schematics, layout, IO selection, and hardware requirements for others in the team
  • Collaborating with external customers, distributors, vendors, and suppliers to initiate new designs and problem-solve
  • Coordinating engineering efforts and providing engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers
  • Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications
  • Providing and assisting in training requirements for new or existing products or processes
  • Assisting in learning, understanding, continual improvements, and promoting quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a directly related field
  • 1 year of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or related occupation
  • 1 year of experience with CAD tools
  • 1 year of experience with schematic and PCB layout using Altium or Mentor Graphics
  • 1 year of experience with hardware testing based on industry standards, including CISPR 25, visual inspection, functional testing, and reviewing test plans
  • 1 year of experience with working with external customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on new designs
  • 1 year of experience with research, development, and evaluation of design concepts, including materials, specifications, equipment, and machines
  • 1 year of experience with engineering design, methods, and applications, including worst case analysis, electrical network calculations, and electrical and mechanical design reviews
