Job Description:

Lead Specialty Software Developer role in Electronic Trading technology team within Capital Markets, developing high-performance framework for Electronic Trading applications and being a key participant in front-office trading development

Job Responsibility:

  • Architecture, design, development, unit testing, and stress testing of a high-performance framework for high-end Electronic Trading applications
  • Be a key participant in a highly talented delivery team for front-office trading development
  • Analyse highly complex business requirements
  • Write functional documents and design technical specifications
  • Design and/or redesign existing complex computer platforms and applications

Requirements:

  • Experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Java experience
  • E-trading experience
  • Algorithmic/electronic-trading development experience
  • Low Latency systems development or implementation experience
  • Hand on multicast messaging framework development experience
  • Multi-threading experience

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Rates, FX and Spread Products for pricing construction and risk management
  • Strong knowledge of JDK 1.8+ programming paradigms
  • Strong knowledge of multi-core / multi-threading concepts and paradigms
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX
  • Strong knowledge of core computer science design concepts, algorithms, and data structures
  • Background in e-trading (SOR/Algo/EMS/MarketData) and electronic market making products
  • Experience in low-latency/real-time development and optimization
  • Working knowledge with market data / ECN connectivity / FIX protocol development
  • Low-latency JAVA experience (GC tuning, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of quantitative modeling
  • Working knowledge with tools required for regression test automation
  • Advanced experience in capital markets business and processes
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEC, FINRA and international regulations
  • Working knowledge on Agile best practices
