Job Description:

The Connectivity team will be responsible for learning how various sets of infrastructure communicate with each other.. This can range from internal Clear Street connectivity, Client connectivity and Vendor connectivity. You will be exposed to all areas of the firm and work with Sales, Trading and Operations plus our engineering team. This role will sit within the Tech organization. The team works with third party service provider systems, Broadridge, FlexTrade and Nasdaq and we orchestrate technical solutions to aggregate data from those platforms that allows our stakeholders to utilize it for reporting, dashboards, regulatory responses and business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with a team of passionate and highly collaborative engineers and the business to build and connect systems that service our clients.
  • Be involved in Front to Back connectivity changes that impact our Electronic Trading and Prime Services team.
  • This will be a client facing role with a lot of exposure across the value chain

Requirements:

  • You have at least 10+ years of professional experience with Connectivity across different areas of a bank. This includes Front, Middle and Back office Connectivity.
  • You have client facing experience
  • You have experience Project Managing and can deliver projects on time and manage expectations if there are obstacles that cause the project to be delivered late
  • You are a self-starter with a sense of urgency and an eagerness to learn and explore new technologies as appropriate to solve business problems.
  • You are a strong communicator who can interact in a clear and concise manner with non-technical business stakeholders, product managers as well engineers.
  • You have the ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions.
  • You have professional experience with FIX protocol with deep knowledge and understanding
  • You understand the post-trade process and how trades allocate, book, clear and settle
  • You have experience with SWIFT
  • You have experience with PB client portal and can walk clients through a demo
  • You have experience in the Stock Loan process and how locates are obtained
  • You are inquisitive by nature and a team player

Nice to have:

You have experience across multiple asset classes (Equity, Options, OTC, Futures, FX Prime Brokerage)
