Find your future with us. Boeing Defense is looking for an Electronic Technician to support their facility in Kent, WA and Tukwila, WA.
Job Responsibility:
Perform electronic and software testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, adjustment and repair of electronic components, systems, and related test equipment
May assist in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototype, electronic assemblies
Obtain hardware and work order
Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents
Set up and perform bench test or automatic test as required
Perform tests using various computer systems, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters
Troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits and/or hardware and adjust or repair
Select proper hand, power, and/or bench tools
Write tie-ins and maintain records such as work log
Devise and/or build shop aids and work around methods
Handle and protect components and assemblies
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials
Pack electronic equipment for travel
Maintain test equipment
Maintain personal and tool certifications
Check work after completion of each operation
Submit completed job or reworked job up for inspection
Contact lead/supervisor/engineer/planner when assistance is needed
Requirements:
Must be a minimum of at least 18 years of age
Minimum one year of experience using electronic test equipment
Minimum one year of hands-on experience with power and control electronics circuit design, product design and manufacturing
Minimum one year of testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15/§120.62 required)
Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
