As an Electronic Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the community by actively monitoring low to high-risk offenders. This position requires close collaboration with government agencies, proactive monitoring, and real-time responses to ensure the conditions of offenders' orders are met.
Job Responsibility
Conduct continuous electronic monitoring of offenders, responding to customer inquiries and alerts promptly
Provide factual and timely data entry into the System, maintaining accurate records
Extract and analyze information from various sources and stakeholders
Treat offenders with respect, ensuring their conditions are monitored and reported to relevant stakeholders
Respond to alerts in accordance with the client’s Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure the regular monitoring of inclusion and exclusion zones for offenders
Assist in on-the-job training for team members
Coordinate, monitor, and record offender activities using verbal or computer-based communication systems within a monitoring center
Requirements
2 years' experience in customer service and/or data analytics
High level of availability to work 24/7 shifts on a full-time
Intermediate-Advanced computer skills in Microsoft platforms
Resilience for monitoring offenders and high-level interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Satisfactorly pass a (P800) Police Check
Satisfactorily pass any additional security check requirements from the Northern Territory Government if requested
