We are seeking an Electronic Engineer to work with us to perform the troubleshooting and repair of new 5G (and future generation) cellular radios while ensuring the factory meets demand for radios for effective, functioning deployment in cell phone towers across the United States. As a technical expert on radio troubleshoot & repair, this role mentors and guides electronic troubleshoot technicians concerning hands-on electronic circuit board debugging and systematic root cause analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Perform the troubleshooting and repair of new 5G (and future generation) cellular radios
Mentor and guide electronic troubleshoot technicians concerning hands-on electronic circuit board debugging and systematic root cause analysis.
Establish processes and techniques to increase troubleshooting velocity along with efficacy of repair.
Analyze and identify radio product defect trends using data analysis tools.
Utilize root cause analysis to increase production efficiency and improve product quality through investigation.
Write Python scripts to communicate and troubleshoot the radio at the bench along and SQL scripts to automate product location management.
Research and collaborate with factory engineers to find new ways to increase radio throughput and repair velocity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience as an Electronic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related in hardware design in RF Engineering or board level design
Experience in electrical component level troubleshooting and fault analysis
Project management with technical personnel training and mentoring.
Collaboration with external teams: quality, design, and manufacturing.
