The Controls Engineer is responsible for maintaining programming backups and keeping up-to-date electrical and mechanical manuals for the machinery under their supervision. They are also responsible for ensuring that their computer is properly maintained and equipped with the necessary software to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the quality management system and its processes
Provide training for new employees and ensure ongoing competency development within their operational roles
Ensure compliance with payroll procedures, including leave requests, vacations, and medical absences
Preserve and share critical knowledge within the department
Adhere to labor relations procedures and company policies
Participate in assigned training courses relevant to the role
Ensure compliance with NOM-035 and corporate policies on psychosocial risk management
Monitor and follow up on the closure of incidents and unsafe conditions in the work area
Implement and enforce safety and environmental policies
Actively contribute to the identification and mitigation of risks within assigned areas
Continuously develop and improve the occupational safety and environmental management system
Promote and apply the company’s mission, vision, and values in daily operations
Exercise the authority to halt any activity that poses a risk to the health or safety of personnel
Requirements:
Educational Background bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
advanced English
Ability to interpret technical diagrams
PLC (Electric Engineer)
Experience with processes involving metalworking machinery and maintenance systems
