Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring machines are operated at optimize/ reliable condition, by developing and executing proper preventive and predictive maintenance. Engineer is also responsible for achieving Maintenance KPI in terms of % downtime and mean time between failure (MTBF). Responsible for emergency unplanned breakdown and provide technical solution. Responsible for analyzing the replacement of machine part and spare part stock availability, ensure critical spare part or frequent change spare part stock is available anytime for any emergency unplanned downtime / planned maintenance. Engineer must ensure all repairing / upgrading jobs are carried out under safe conditions, which will not create any unsafe act or unsafe condition to himself or others. Engineer will assign to supervise a team of technicians and ensure all tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner
  • Continuous improvement of work methods aims in reducing unplanned downtime (UPDT), mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR)
  • Responsible for emergency unplanned breakdown, to recognize that the responsibility for site and plant is a 24-hours, 7-days week commitment and to be prepared to “call out” at any time
  • Perform root cause analysis on process interruption incident and complete non-conformance (NC) in Trackwise application
  • Provide technical solutions related to machine breakdown issues
  • Provide analysis of critical spare parts and spare part stock control using PM tools to CMMS
  • Manage a safe working environment that results in attaining the target of ZERO accident
  • Plans, direct and coordinates process improvement, maintenance of equipment and machinery according to engineering principles and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management
  • Engineering related skills, industrial automation, specializing in Siemens PLC & SCADA
  • Knowledge or experience in switching, RF and high frequency oscillator circuit preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in HSE procedure/ rules and regulations and COSHH requirement
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
