Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Electromechanical Technician for our plant in Steinbach. Job Responsibility:

Repair and adjust various equipment and machines
Diagnose technical problems and make necessary repairs and adjustments
Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment
Inspect mechanical, control, and pneumatic components of manufacturing processes
Keep equipment in good working order
Participate in the development and optimization of the preventive maintenance program
Collaborate in the implementation of new health and safety systems
Support production teams in line adjustments and settings
Comply with good manufacturing practices (BPM)

Requirements:

A proper training in electromechanics or electrical engineering
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in electromechanics
Strong problem-solving skills, with leadership to take charge of situations and resolve them
Autonomy and proactivity in your daily work
Good analytical skills
Resourcefulness and initiative essential
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent mechanical skills
Functional experience in control and automation

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC programming languages
Experience in Fanuc robot programming
Familiarity with machine safety components
Knowledge of servo motors
Experience with preventive maintenance software such as Intéral
