Electromechanical technicians are the maintenance people who use their technical expertise and skills to keep our quality chocolates rolling off the production line. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, these key team members troubleshoot electromechanical issues as they come up. We use state-of-the-art equipment, so a keen interest in the electrical aspect of the trade is a must. Electromechanical technicians may also perform preventive maintenance, machine adjustments or modifications, equipment installations, or building maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot electromechanical issues
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform machine adjustments or modifications
Perform equipment installations
Perform building maintenance
Coordinate with different team members
Diagnose, analyze, and solve breakdowns or malfunctions
Test fixed machines
Document work in Maintenance Direct software
Update the teammate taking over
Participate in different projects
Train operators, production coordinators, and other maintenance team members
Requirements:
Hold a DEP in electromechanics
Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Have strong electrical and electronics knowledge
Have above-average troubleshooting skills
Have good prioritization skills
