An electromechanical technician plays a pivotal role in industrial and technical maintenance. As a specialist in both mechanics and electricity, they ensure the optimal functioning of complex machines used across various industries. Whether for installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting, they are involved at every stage of an equipment’s lifecycle, guaranteeing its performance and safety.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Identifying signs of wear, performing adjustments, and making necessary repairs to prevent unexpected breakdowns
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnosing the root causes of electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic failures and carrying out targeted interventions
  • Installation: Setting up new equipment in line with technical specifications and ensuring it operates correctly
  • Adjustment and Testing: Conducting tests and calibrations to ensure machines meet performance requirements
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all interventions conform to current regulations to guarantee user safety

Requirements:

  • Mastery of Electrical and Mechanical Systems: A thorough understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to quickly diagnose issues and determine the most effective solutions
  • Precision and Rigor: A methodical approach to work while strictly adhering to safety standards
  • Adaptability: The capacity to work on a variety of machines and in diverse environments
  • Autonomy and Proactivity: The ability to independently plan and execute interventions while maintaining clear communication with other technical teams
  • Vocational High School Diploma in Industrial Equipment Maintenance (MEI)
  • Advanced Technician Diplomas (BTS) in Systems Maintenance or Electrotechnics
  • Professional Certifications such as the Advanced Professional Technician in Electrotechnics certificate
