Job Responsibility

  • Implement and handle preventive maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
  • Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
  • Comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner
  • Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
  • Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.

Requirements

  • One to two years of previous experience
  • Technical training or certification in Electromechanics, Maintenance or a related field (recognized in the EU)
  • Ability to read, write and understand mechanical and electrical symbolisms to interpret blueprints, schematics, and specification
  • Experienced in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical system
  • Knowledge to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, electrical panels, kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Ability to respond promptly to technical issues to minimize disruption to hotel operations
  • Ability to support general maintenance tasks when required
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls valued
  • Attention to detail and proactivity in identifying faults before they impact operations
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Maintenance team and other departments
  • Fluent level of Portuguese required
  • English language skills preferred
  • Previous hotel or luxury brand experience preferred
  • Must hold authorization to work in a European country
  • Have the ability to demonstrate your unique personality and service style while achieving the brand standards that make us Four Seasons.

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls valued
  • English language skills preferred
