Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of electro-pneumatic systems, using SPAC to create wiring diagrams and technical documentation. The role involves working closely with the engineering team and other business divisions to ensure projects meet technical and quality requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop electrical and pneumatic schematics using SPAC
  • Manage the design of electro-pneumatic systems, including the selection and integration of components
  • Collaborate with the production team for prototyping and industrialisation of products
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical support during installation and testing of systems
  • Maintain and update project documentation

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in electro-pneumatic design
  • Advanced competence in the use of SPAC for creating electrical diagrams
  • Knowledge of industrial automation principles and electro-pneumatic components
  • Skills in problem solving and ability to work in a team
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related diploma
  • Italian national or hold a valid Visa/Permit to work in Italy

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the Atex standard for designing systems for explosive environments is highly desirable

  • Customer focus looking after all engineering activities to introduce, update and maintain products
  • Conducting PFMEA/other quality methodology to identify the associated risks and establish control prior to the manufacture of new products
  • Facilitating Process, Quality, and Cycle Time/UPH improvement, involving representatives from other departments to promote teamwork and awareness
  • Promoting quality awareness and setting good practice example to operators
  • Standardising procedures and documenting them through work instructions
  • Designing fixtures and jigs required during PCB and Box Build Assembly
  • Assembly monitoring to minimize downtime in order to successfully meet OTIF/ turnaround
