Job Description

Syntech Recruitment are excited to be supporting an aviation overhaul and repair business based in Alton, who are looking to expand their team with an Electro-Mechanical Technician.

Job Responsibility

  • Reading schematic drawings and circuit diagrams to diagnose and repair faults
  • Carrying out soldering, testing and refurbishment of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other bench equipment to fault find
  • Completing work to CAA, EASA and FAA Part 145 standards
  • Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and the MRP system
  • Ensuring all work cards and job packs are completed correctly

Requirements

  • Strong ability to read schematic and engineering drawings
  • Proven experience with soldering and electronics/electro-mechanical repair
  • Fault-finding experience using scopes, meters and standard workshop tools
  • Transferable repair background (aviation or industries such as white goods/electronics repair)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office & MRP systems)
