Supports the plant and production lines with maintenance support

Job Responsibility

  • Must pass physical strength test (cybex)
  • Must be able to transport oneself to, from, and around one’s designated work area on concrete surfaces which are often uneven, wet, and slippery
  • Must have legible handwriting
  • Must be able to climb and descend ladders
  • Must be able to operate required shop hand and power tools
  • Must have related technical school training or the equivalent work experience
  • Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances which may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm
  • Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members
  • Work with, and be exposed to oils, greases, and solvents
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Push buttons, turn knobs, and flip switches on equipment
  • Must be able to evacuate an area quickly in an emergency
  • Must be capable of safely operating forklift equipment
  • Able to work at least 40 hours per week on an assigned shift with some daily overtime required in case of emergencies and weekend overtime required
  • Able to work in effective temperatures ranging from –05 degrees F
  • Able to climb and work at heights of up to 110 feet
  • Other duties as assigned
