Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Electrician’s Mate to assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This role is Temporary role - Weekly paid - Fully on-site

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist electricians with installing wiring, lighting, and electrical systems
  • Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas
  • Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations
  • Cut, bend, and install conduit as directed
  • Help with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Follow health and safety regulations on-site
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Previous experience in a construction or electrical environment is desirable
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • Driving license
