Electrician

• Manage the smooth operation and maintenance of the plant's electrical systems
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with AC/DC motors, drives, and relay control circuits
• Handle basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7 systems (300, 1200, and 1500)
• Read electrical schematics and use computerized maintenance management systems (MMS)
• Propose and implement improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency
• Strictly follow all Health and Safety protocols and SSOW
• Support departmental improvement initiatives

• Qualified Electrician with a completed apprenticeship
• At least 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause failure analysis
• Experience with low-voltage systems, drives, and PLCs
• Familiarity with SAP or a similar computerized system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
• Must have a driving license and a vehicle
• Must be available for flexible shifts
