Electrician

• Using contract drawings and specifications install conduit, wire, support fixtures, lighting and devices
• Coordinate with architectural and mechanical trades personnel in the installation of project required equipment and materials
• Assist in activities that require all personnel to support a major activity, such as a demolition activity within space
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers
• Stay appraised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations
• Ability to run conduit
• Install electrical components to include but not limited to: electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm
• Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed
• Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients
• Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes
• Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products
• Use of testing equipment and hand tools
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

• Up-to-date electrician’s license
• 5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Top Secret Clearance Required
