Electrician

• Carry out electrical installation and maintenance tasks throughout the whole of Saffron Housing Trust Properties
• Undertaking all electrical works including maintenance, modernisation, improvements and remedials to maintain all premises
• Ensuring all jobs are closed down accordingly when jobs are completed via a mobile device
• Ensuring the safety and security of Saffron’s tenants and properties by participating on the out of hours call out rota, as required

• ECS Gold Card
• Current JIB card
• Level 3 competency-based standard (NVQ) in Electrical installations
• AM2 qualification
• City and Guilds 2391 testing and inspection certificate - Desirable
• Relevant experience and knowledge in all types of domestic electrical work, including rewires, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, wiring, connection, and commissioning of all types of heating fuel systems
• Experience of working in both occupied and unoccupied properties
• Excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use a mobile device (mobile phone/tablet) to manage workload
• Ability to participate on the out of hours call out rota
• Full, current, valid driving licence
• Comfortable working within confined areas e.g. roof spaces, which are subject to fluctuating temperatures during the year
• Subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check
