Job Description

As an Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for a range of electrical trade functions, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment used in electricity generation, distribution, and utilization. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of various electrical systems and components.

Job Responsibility

  • Install and repair diverse electrical equipment like generators, transformers, switchboards, and motors, based on blueprints or specifications
  • Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve electrical system issues
  • Perform load requirement computations and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Utilize electrician's tools and test instruments proficiently
  • Possess rounded expertise typically acquired through formal apprenticeship or licensure
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members and assist as needed
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by supervisory personnel

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
  • Electrical Journeyman License
