This role is based within the high-volume Linen Services Department, focusing on maximising uptime for automated laundry and distribution machinery. The position is a stable casual opportunity until EOFY, with a high likelihood of permanency or extension based on performance. The Financials & Flexibility The Rate: $56.95/hr + Super (paid weekly). The Work Working within an industrial-scale laundry and distribution environment, you will focus on preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response. Plant Maintenance: Conduct routine electrical upkeep on large-scale continuous batch washers (tunnel washers), industrial dryers, and high-speed ironers/folders. Automated Conveyors: Fault-find and repair electrical issues on automated monorail overhead bag systems, belt conveyors, and sorting sensors. Automation & Diagnostics: Diagnose minor faults on PLC inputs/outputs, variable speed drives (VSDs), limit switches, and proximity sensors to minimise downtime. Safety Compliance: Test, tag, and calibrate critical safety systems, including emergency stop circuits, pull-cords, light curtains, and safety interlocks. Environmental Upkeep: Inspect and maintain electrical components exposed to high humidity and temperature environments.
Job Responsibility
Conduct routine electrical upkeep on large-scale continuous batch washers (tunnel washers), industrial dryers, and high-speed ironers/folders

Requirements
Cert III in Electrotechnology
Valid QLD Electrical Work Licence (A-Grade)
Current LVR/CPR
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and provide Hep B immunisation records
