Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our clients in house maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, installations, and refurbishment work. Your primary mission is to provide excellent fault diagnosis and customer service, ensuring homes remain safe and functional for all residents.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering high-quality repairs, installations, and refurbishment work
  • providing excellent fault diagnosis and customer service
  • undertaking electrical tasks in accordance with I.E.E. wiring regulations including Part P
  • fault finding on single and three-phase installations, shower replacements, and immersion element replacements including cylinder draining
  • carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Testing & Inspection, and Portable Appliance Testing
  • completing electrical installation certificates including minor works
  • promptly notifying the Qualifying Supervisor of any urgent repairs or Health & Safety defects

Requirements

  • C&G 2330 and C&G 2382 (essential)
  • full driving license
  • proactive approach to Health & Safety
  • participation in Emergency Out of Hours delivery service
  • clean-shaven for proper fitting of safety face masks (exceptions made for religion or medical conditions)
  • maintaining adequate van stock and accurately accounting for all materials used

Nice to have

  • C&G 2391 qualification
  • competent in using smartphones and PDAs
  • capable of working with limited supervision
  • excellent communication skills
  • experience with elderly or vulnerable customers
