Electrician

• Install and repair of a variety of electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications
• Locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment
• Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
• Use of a variety of electrician’s hand tools and test & measurement instruments
• Maintain the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces
• Assist others as part of the maintenance team as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proof of Legal Residency and proof of US citizenship
• Must be licensed/certified by the State for his/her specific trade at the full-performance start date
• NICET Level 2 certification (or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of computer software programs to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required
• Rounded training and experience, usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship, licensed Journeyman or Masters
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions

NICET Level 2 certification (or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire)
