Sun Protection of Florida (SPF) is a leader in motorized screens and retractable awnings, serving customers across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas. We're growing fast in Texas and looking for a licensed Electrician who wants more than just electrical work—this role blends field electrical, project planning, and customer interaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Install 120V outlets and circuits (GFCI/AFCI) for motorized screens and awnings
  • Perform on-site measurements (remeasures) to ensure jobs are built and installed correctly
  • Work directly with homeowners to finalize project details
  • Use iPad/CRM to document measurements, photos, and job notes
  • Collaborate with Install, Sales, and QA teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
  • Help deliver a 5-star customer experience on every job

Requirements

  • Active Texas Electrical License: Licensed Wireman
  • Experience with residential electrical work (120V circuits)
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in attics, and at heights
  • Strong communication skills with customers and team members
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-friendly (iPad/FaceTime/CRM)
  • Clean driving record
