  • Install new 120V receptacles and extend or modify existing circuits in compliance with NEC, Georgia amendments, and local requirements
  • Test outlets for proper voltage, grounding, and polarity, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues
  • Work alongside installation and service technicians to coordinate electrical tasks with product installation during the same visit
  • Ensure all electrical work is neat, secure, inspection-ready, and adheres to safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with install teams, supervisors, and the licensed Electrical Contractor, providing accurate feedback and documentation
  • Support inspection corrections and escalate code or safety concerns as needed
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on residential electrical experience
  • Knowledgeable in 120-volt systems and NEC requirements for receptacle installation
  • Comfortable working independently in occupied residential environments while following established standards
  • A team player with a professional, customer-facing demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating an installation truck
  • Preferred: Experience installing outlets for motors or low-load equipment and coordinating electrical work with installation teams.

What we offer

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, accident, and life insurance (eligible after 60 days)
  • Paid Time Off: 96 hours annually, plus 40 hours of sick time
  • 401(k) with a 6% company match (eligible on the 1st of the month after hire)
  • Company-provided iPad, iPhone, tools, and uniforms
  • Opportunities for growth and development within SPF’s electrical department.
