Job Description:

Join our clients operational team, working on vehicle charging and street lighting contracts for the country’s leading developers in the North West area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installing lanterns on new columns
  • Installing feeder pillars and associated distribution systems
  • Installing EV chargers on domestic and commercial premises
  • Fault finding on SWA underground networks
  • Cable pulls and private SWA jointing
  • Testing and certifying work undertaken
  • Periodic inspection, testing, and rectification works

Requirements:

  • Experience with street lighting contracts
  • Completed electrical apprenticeship, including 18th edition certification
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Experience with feeder pillar installations and EV chargers
  • Proven track record of meeting challenging performance measures
  • Good communication skills and ability to read drawings
  • Performance-driven to meet contractual timelines and deliver schemes on time
  • Understanding and implementation of risk assessments and method statements
  • Flexibility in working hours, including availability for some weekend work
  • Full driving licence
  • Full Streetworks certification
  • Ability to manage your own workload, set priorities, and work to strict deadlines
  • Commitment to the success and values of the client
