As a Multi Skilled Electrician at Progress Housing Group (known internally as a Lead Electrician), you’ll be out on site each day carrying out electrical works in our homes - responding to repairs, diagnosing faults and completing jobs right first time. You’ll work across both occupied and void domestic properties, completing reactive repairs and planned maintenance such as fault-finding, replacing accessories, upgrading circuits and carrying out small installations. You’ll interact with tenants in their homes, explain what needs doing in plain terms, work safely and tidily, and keep your jobs up to date using our mobile system so the team always has a clear view of progress and next steps. Where access needs reinstating after electrical work, you may also carry out basic making-good (for example minor joinery or plumbing) to leave the property secure and presentable. Every job you complete helps keep our homes safe and compliant - and makes a real, day-to-day difference to tenant wellbeing and satisfaction.
