Job Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in crane control panels and lifting equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Conduct inspections of machinery, transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring to ensure safe operation
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using technical diagrams, blueprints, and tests
  • Program and configure electrical control systems
  • Train operators in basic maintenance tasks and electrical safety procedures
  • Ensure safety compliance through LOTO procedures and proper use of PPE

Requirements

  • Vocational electrical qualification with strong maintenance knowledge
  • Workplace safety certification (e.g., ESA or OSHA)
  • Experience from heavy industry such as steel mills, manufacturing, or mining
  • Familiarity with Swedish and EU safety codes and industry standards
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to mentor colleagues
  • Organized, independent, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Physical fitness for working at heights and ability to carry tools
  • Good knowledge of English
