Job Responsibility

Managing the daily electrical running, operation and maintenance of underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos, associated electrical and surface electrical equipment for all sites
Organising and planning work for future electrical operations
Managing planned and extraordinary maintenance for all electrical equipment on site
Reading and working on electrical drawings for underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos / site installations
Liaising with the rest of the Plant & Equipment Team for planning ongoing and future works
Provide support to production team, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
Responsible for identifying all electrical safety and technical hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans
