Randstad is delighted to partner with one of Australia’s leading defence primes, BAE Systems, who are recruiting experienced Electrical Trade Assistants to join their Electrical team for major naval shipbuilding programs in Osborne, SA. This casual position is a great opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to grow their career and make a valuable contribution to the defence shipbuilding industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting trades in a production environment
  • Confined space watching and confined space general work
  • Spotting where required (hot work, EWP etc)
  • General housekeeping duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Electrical/Mechanical/Construction Trade Assistant role
  • Electrical Trade Assistant roles
  • Mechanical or industrial maintenance environments
  • Carpentry, sheet metal, fabrication, or construction trades
  • Shipyard, manufacturing, or heavy industry settings
