NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent (essential)
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing qualification, or equivalent (essential)
18th edition Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification (essential)
Valid UK driving Licence (essential)
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement

Job Responsibility

Carry out electrical installation testing in our customer’s properties and produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment
Conduct periodic inspections of clients’ electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
Complete follow-on remedial works, where required
