Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the electrical testing of high reliability, radiation hardened, trusted microelectronic components used in various strategic systems throughout the DoD
Testing electronic components to include, test interface hardware, setting up test circuit schematics, using software code to control automated test equipment (ATE), aid engineers in test procedure development, and other various duties as assigned
Requirements:
Vocational/Technical training beyond high school in electronics technology/engineering
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
Hands-on experience with handling and testing small parts, such as microelectronics
Knowledge of electronic components and device operating characteristics
Understanding and utilizing laboratory safety practices
Applied knowledge of geometry and algebra for physical applications
Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
Ability to engage in a multidisciplinary team of technicians, scientists, and engineers
Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniques
Must be able to maintain and obtain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain and obtain Secret Clearance.
Nice to have:
Active Secret Clearance
Experience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes, electrical test measurement equipment, and other analytical equipment
Basic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materials
Basic knowledge of techniques for failure or material analysis of microelectronics
