Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the electrical testing of high reliability, radiation hardened, trusted microelectronic components used in various strategic systems throughout the DoD
  • Testing electronic components to include, test interface hardware, setting up test circuit schematics, using software code to control automated test equipment (ATE), aid engineers in test procedure development, and other various duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical training beyond high school in electronics technology/engineering
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Hands-on experience with handling and testing small parts, such as microelectronics
  • Knowledge of electronic components and device operating characteristics
  • Understanding and utilizing laboratory safety practices
  • Applied knowledge of geometry and algebra for physical applications
  • Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
  • Ability to engage in a multidisciplinary team of technicians, scientists, and engineers
  • Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniques
  • Must be able to maintain and obtain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain and obtain Secret Clearance.

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes, electrical test measurement equipment, and other analytical equipment
  • Basic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materials
