This is an exceptional opportunity to join our dynamic Maintenance team where you will work across a wide range of electrical systems, carrying out routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. In addition, you will support the installation and commissioning of plant upgrades and improvement projects both during normal operations and scheduled turnarounds, helping to maximise plant availability, resolve defects efficiently, and deliver maintenance routines on schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with company and statutory, environmental, health and safety standards including compliance with PPE requirements, permits and isolation procedures, the use of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and pre-job hazard checks for all tasks
Installing, inspecting, and testing all types of electrical equipment
Perform routine maintenance on control and power distribution panels and electrical systems and carry out repairs and reactive maintenance in the event of breakdowns, faults, and malfunctions
Perform diagnostic tests to identify the location of faults and replace any damaged components
Perform isolations, de-isolations at LV and HV (on single-ended drives)
Raising, releasing, and completing Work Orders and updating databases as required
Raising requests for materials for the routine execution of work
Inspection and record keeping or updating as part of a preventive maintenance programme
To assist in the upkeep of plant drawings and documentation by reporting errors to supervision
To participate in training in order to enhance skills to enable you to meet the company’s competency requirements
Reviewing and helping in the upkeep of Technical Data and manuals
Be willing to work outside of normal hours on a planned or call-in basis to meet the needs of the business
Carry out turnaround maintenance tasks safely, on-schedule, and according to the work packs, company standards and good practice
As required, and when selected, execute tasks associated with the shutdown Tech Team
Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements in a COMAH top tier site and a detailed understanding of how CF complies with these through site procedures, rules, and expectations
Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety risks and a familiarity with the relevant safety standards and regulations
Competent Person ‘A’ status under FW66
Partially authorised person under the CF HV Rules
Have experience using a computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Proficient user of MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and must have well-developed written and oral communication skills
