In the role of an Electrical Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, responsible for the assembly and installation of electronic components and electromechanical products. Your duties will include working from detailed specifications and established manufacturing procedures to ensure the proper installation and functionality of various electrical systems. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during the assembly process, as well as conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. Your work will require a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Responsibility:
Read, understand, and troubleshoot diverse electrical schematics, wire diagrams, 1-line, and 3-line diagrams
Efficiently manage general shop material, ensuring an adequate stock for seamless project execution
Maintain a neat work environment, reflecting our dedication to quality and excellence
Meticulously organize and manage project-specific material, maintaining an organized and tidy workspace
Collaborate closely with engineering staff/CAD to efficiently complete projects on the expected schedule
Understand wiring processes, identifying and rectifying errors with a commitment to accuracy and neat wiring practices
Grasp the significance of the quality of work and understand the implications of costs related to mistakes and rework
Demonstrate the ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams, showcasing your technical prowess
Work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight, highlighting your versatility and initiative
Document FAQ’s and create a Procedure log and tech notes
Panel shop coordination to NAT (Name Address Translation) & Naming Moxa devises on new builds
Requirements:
High proficiency in reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics
Previous experience in material management and maintaining a neat work environment
Demonstrated expertise in organizing and managing project-specific materials
Careful handling of expensive equipment and showcasing a high level of responsibility
Effective collaboration with engineering staff, demonstrating the ability to complete projects on schedule
Nice to have:
Base level knowledge of Electrical and Automation products, including but not limited to PLC’s, IO’s, Safety Devices, Enclosures, Motor Starters, Variable Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Sensors, Panelboards, etc
Basic understanding of electricity, panel design/wiring, manufacturing/OEM experience
